Partner / Creative Direction
Thibault, this French dude, graduated from some fancy-pants school in France and started showing off his work. The bigwigs at BUF saw something in him, snatched him up, and turned him into a VFX wizard.
He's worked with some of the biggest names in the business, from Wong Kar Wai to Olivier Gondry or Rupert Sanders. He's got a reputation for being a perfectionist, a real stickler for detail. And he's got a knack for making visuals that hit you right in the gut.
Thibault has worked with such brands as Nike, Coke, Nintendo, BMW, Carls JR, Verizon, Spectrum, Adidas, Whirlpool.
Partner / Creative Direction + Design
Alex started out as a pencil pusher, slinging main titles like a madman. And let me tell you, he's done alright. He's worked with some of the biggest names in the business, from Kyle Cooper to Marc Forster. He's got a resume longer than your arm. And he's got a brain that's sharper than a razor blade.
Oh, and did I mention he plays the piano and guitar? Yeah, that's right. He's got a classical education, too. So not only is he a creative genius, he's also a cultured dude that brings ideas to life with a touch of class.
Alex has lead campaigns for high-end brands like Nike, Google, Samsung, Toyota, Kohler and JP Morgan Chase.
3D Lead + Animation
Jesse James Jones Jr., a name straight out of the Wild West, is a creative dude who can do it all. He's a motion designer, a compositor, a jack-of-all-trades. He's lived everywhere from Texas to Munich, and he's worked on everything from films to VR.
He loves Mexican food and spicy mustard, and he's got more experience than you can shake a stick at.
Jesse's punched the clock for Audi, HBO Max, Bose, and Apple. He’s also has his hands in the title sequence world for films including, but not limited to, Limitless, The Walking Dead, Slumberland — grinding it out, pixel by pixel.
Flame Lead + VFX Supervisor
French Alex started out in Paris, the city of lights and dreams. He worked on some fancy-pants movies. His stuff ended up in Pirates of the Caribbean and Amélie, for Christ's sake.
But it wasn’t the same as being in LA. You know, the sun, the beaches, the endless possibilities. So he packed his bags and headed to LA in 2004 in his ’77 Chevy Supernova, where he quickly became a big shot in the VFX world.
Alex has danced with the big boys — Coke, HP, Samsung, Tekken, Xbox, Hyundai. Another project, another deadline. You grind it out and move on.
Colorist
Aubrey Woodiwiss, the color man. Born in London, cut his teeth at CFC, moved on to The Mill, and then? Built Electric Color from the ground up, his own playground of hues.
He’s been in the trenches with the likes of Sam Brown, Rupert Sanders, and the great Alejandro González Iñárritu. He’s danced with Martin de Thurah, Ringan Ledwidge, Gabriel Moses, Emil Nava, Chris Hewitt, Seb Edwards, Melina Matsoukas, Scott Lyon, Andreas Nilsson, Marcus Söderlund, Jamie Rafn, and Jonas Åkerlund.
You’ve seen his work even if you don’t know it. Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Rihanna—they all walked through his lens. Calvin Harris, Frank Ocean, Taylor Swift too. And brands—Nike, Calvin Klein, Apple—they came knocking.
But outside the grind, the man makes beats, gets lost in sound, or finds himself in the pages of philosophy, digging for truth between the lines.
